SECURE FINE ART STORAGE FACILITY

Constantine Scotland’s storage facilities are amongst the best in private ownership anywhere in the world.

We offer the most up-to-date technology in the market, from humidity-controlled environments to around-the-clock digital CCTV surveillance and security systems which meet stringent UK government requirements.

You can also choose to store in climatically controlled storage rooms, with a viewing area for private inspections. Either way, maximum security and fire zoning apply to all areas.

All storage areas offer controlled access and allow for individual items and entire exhibitions to be stored for any period necessary.

Security

The facility, which opened in 2002, is fully detached and set within its own plot of land which is surrounded by 3-metre high security fencing. Vehicle and pedestrian access is controlled via electronically operated security gates. All access to the site and the building is by appointment only.

Comprehensive security lighting illuminates the site and all windows and doors on the ground floor are protected by electronically operated steel shutters. External infrared CCTV covers every elevation of the building and is fully monitored and controlled by a series of active motion sensors.

Internally the building is also equipped with a fully monitored alarm and CCTV system with wall-mounted viper sensors. Access controls are fitted to the high-security areas of the building.

Location

Constantine Scotland’s 35,000-square-foot purpose-built storage facility. It is conveniently located close to the main transport links of Scotland’s central belt. Just eight miles from Glasgow city centre and 40 miles from Edinburgh.

Climate-Controlled Storage

The facility provides museum-grade fine art storage, with both heated and fully climate-controlled options available for short and long-term storage needs. As well as this, we can accommodate containerised storage of up to 250cu. ft wooden containers, as well as space for loose storage of large or awkwardly sized items.

Our experienced onsite team are available to provide art handling, packing, condition reporting, conservation, transportation, customs, and coordination to help move your collection safely where you need it to go.
